Human Rights, Migration, and International Cooperation

Choosing this course means wanting to delve deeper into the world of migration and cooperation with a legal education behind you. There will be developed knowledge and skills in the territorial, social, economic, legal and anthropo-pedagogical fields. A graduate of this course is perfectly at ease in these areas, becomes competent in the application of jurisprudence relating to the protection of the most basic human rights and in dialogue with migrant and local actors. Mechatronics and Smart Technology Engineering

The Master in Mechanical Engineering (Smart Technology Engineering) is aimed at providing mechanical engineers with additional knowledge and skills in the field of Information and Communication Technology. Medical Engineering

The Medical Engineering degree program combines biomedical engineering with medical needs. To this aim students are trained in the area of industrial and electronic biomedical engineering, alongside the knowledge in the medical area, with specific focus on health technologies.The use of medical technologies is nowadays mandatory for disease prevention and care. Physicians need to work in close contact with experts of biomedical technologies. The hospital will soon become high-tech centers for high complexity care, while new technologies will also allow to reduce hospitalization by increasing home- and self-monitoring and telemedicine.The Medical Engineering degree program deals with new trends and guidelines for health care services, promoting a new professional profile based on advanced biomechanics, bioimaging, clinical data processing, hardware and software solutions for medicine, and their interconnection with clinical practice as well as clinical investigations.The main objective of the course is to train a new professional able to operate in a national and international context to help industry and hospitals to develop and use efficient technologies into health care facilities, based on innovation but evaluating at the same time technology effectiveness and sustainability. Management Engineering

The Master’s Degree in Management Engineering is addressed to students seeking to complement an in-depth knowledge in engineering with the ability to take strategic decisions and tackle organizational issues.The Course aims to develop the students’ entrepreneurial and managerial skills and to provide them with the ability to plan and manage complex systems. Philosophical Knowledge: Foundations, Methods, Applications

The first year of the course explores, with all the relevant technicalities, updates and historical insights, the fundamental debates still evolving in such central disciplines of philosophical enquiry as ontology and metaphysics, ethics and bioethics, epistemology, the philosophy of logic and mathematics, philosophy of language, philosophy of science, philosophy of the mind and the cognitive sciences, argumentation theory, philosophy of technology and artificial intelligence, preparing students for further study and research at doctoral level.
In the second year, the curriculum is enriched with a wide range of lessons and workshops in the field of science and technology on topics such as economics and business management, robotics and machine ethics, the neuroscience of decision-making, the environmental, economic and social challenges of sustainability, digital innovation and technology transfer, healthcare engineering and economics, data analysis, management and communication, intellectual property ontology and so on, training students to apply the skills of philosophical analysis and rational argumentation learned in the first year in all these fields, and preparing them for a wide range of professions in the areas of business, communication and human resource management.
